Sometimes you may have to get creative, switch out bread or wraps for lettuce.
You could wrap your tuna sandwich or turkey in lettuce instead of bread. Another switch you could make is using veggie spaghetti, get rid of your white refined pasta carbs. Vegetable spaghetti is a far better option.
Simply steam them, add garlic powder, and top with marinara sauce.
Pick up some celery while you out and about.
It’s mostly overlooked, but celery is one of the best foods to losing weight. It has a thermic effect, it raises your metabolism because it takes more calories to digest the food than you get from the food. So you don’t end up with extra calories to burn after eating it.
Don’t forget the all important fruit, stick to one or two servings per day of green apples, berries, or grapefruit.
Those specific fruits are the lowest in sugar. They also are high in fiber, fiber helps control blood sugar levels. These fruits are also easy to portion control while being the most nutritious.
What about Protein? Well, seafood would be the way to go here.
You want to seek out the lighter and whiter fish. These are better for you metabolism, seafood such as scallops, shrimp, cod, tilapia, and scrod does the job.
